Mona Rooney, DVM came to PLVH in 1991 and bought the practice in 2011. Mona received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University in 1984. She has a special interest in traditional Chinese veterinary medicine. She shares her life at her farm with four horses, three dogs and two cats. In her spare time, Mona enjoys riding her dressage horse, hiking, skiing, knitting and reading.
Doctor Sileo graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School, where he received a V.M.D. Upon graduating from veterinary school, he completed a one year internship in Connecticut where he treated all manner of species including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, pocket pets and wildlife.
During his internship Doctor Sileo was also involved in the care and treatment of the animals at the Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk, CT. He moved to NH in 2013 where he worked in a small animal practice in the Monadnock region. He
recently moved to the upper valley were he is excited to join the team at Pleasant Lake Veterinary Clinic. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his two dogs and exploring the great outdoors.
Christy Wobbe started working at PLVH as a veterinary assistant in 2016. She is from Georges Mills, and still lives there with her son, an English mastiff and a cold-blooded killer cat. She has previous experience at a boarding facility and has also worked as a groomer. She likes roadtrips and concerts and also loves to knit!
Kera Pilger, Veterinary Assistant, joined the Pleasant Lake Veterinary Hospital team in April of 2017. Her background includes 6 years in the food service industry and 5 years experience working at a local boarding kennel. Kera moved to New Hampshire from New York ten years ago. She loves her cool cat, Ludo and her adorable beagle, Shiloh. Kera is known for her flair for organization and brings her unique sense of fun to the practice.
Mary Bardsley, Veterinary Technician, came to PLVH in September of 2017. Mary had retired after an extensive 30 year career in the veterinary field but Dr. Mona convinced her to step out of retirement and join the Pleasant Lake Team. Mary started her career working with Dr. Mona and is happy after 30 years to be back with her again. In her spare time, Mary enjoys blue grass concerts, camping with her husband and time spent with her beloved grandchildren. Mary has a dog, a cat and an Alexandrine parakeet.
Tami Geuser : veterinary technician joined the staff in June 2018.
Tami started in the veterinary field in Middletown, CT in 1980 and since then has worked in various hospitals.
She also has worked with Mona and Mary in the past and is happy to be working with both again.
Tami enjoys motorcycle riding, kayaking and gardening. She has 4 grandsons who are very special to her and loves doing fun stuff with them. Tami resides with her husband of 40 + years, 2 cats and chickens.
